I'm BACK!!! from Macau. St. Paul Ruiins was kinda a disappointment, coz it's super small when i thought i'll be damn big. It's a church afterall, how big can it get right? LOL. oh, and the Crypt was really cool, and solemn. it hids the bones and ashes of the people that died when the building was destroyed or sth. took many many pics~ haha. it's crazy going CASINOS and SHOPPING at ZHU HAI. that trip was quite ok, but a lil' too long coz there's really nothing much to do in Macau. haha.

Anyways, having a long break from work is like an ENERGIZER BATTERY. haha. i feel more ENERGIZED now. but i think i might nt be working for too long. maybe another couple of weeks or so and THAT's it!! i'm going to QUIT. ok, right, if my cash is enough. haha. Oh, and i put on weight. like grow FAT. i'm so sad nw. gonna go on diet already. okie dokies. nth much lately. work's stupid and boring, and weight increasing. ZZzzzZZZzz...... okie but one thing gd abt my job is that it makes me more.. ermm... thick skin? LOL. i mean i think i'm a lil' tougher emotionally. haha. everyday see ppl face colour, if i'm not tougher i think i would've died at my job man seriously~~

yesterday i had my econs paper at 5pm till 730pm. den headed to dinner with mummy, laogong and chung chi. den we ate steamboat till pretty late. like 930? LOL. oh anw, the steamboat is v small nia, buy from sch one. BUT alot of liao4, so eat until wanna vomit altho we 2 ppl share 1. ok, den we waited for cab to go home coz raining and so late liao. and i've a paper at 9am the next day. so chiong home bathe den 1030 liao. so i started to revised abit. and den... i couldn't get to sleep. and it's really frustrating. i ended up sleeping for only 2 HOURS! its so wtf because i study so hard for my exam, and den i've to be in a state of sleep deprivation. AS EXPECTED, i screw up my paper. atleast 16 marks flew away. OH WOW... how great. =(

oops, sorry for not blogging for so long~ nth's been up in my life. it's like pure mugging since sch term started. sigh. as wad i always say, this sem is just KILLER. oh dear oh dear.

exam's starting next wed, and i'm starting to feel the jitters.. i'm really v not prepared for my psycho and biz law mods. the rest should be manageable with some revision. however, i realised i've not enuff time left, coz i only have 5 days more to study for my econs and org chem. den 4 days for biz law and inorg and 1 day for psycho! so its gg to kill me badly. =(

AHHHhhh i hate sch. i just pray tt next sem will be better. coz i got 1 pass fail mod and erm.. i prob will take the singing mod tt don't require much preparations for exams. yup yup =)

ARGH i just want this sem to be over QUICKLY!!!! AaaahHHHHHhhh...

WhEeEeEe~ its the 4 Oct ytd and its my first time stepping into the indoor stadium, NOT BECAUSE i'm going there for fun, but to watch AMEI's concert!! haha. her singing is super zai~ omg. hehe~ she sang alot of my faves songs like jian ai, ji de and wo yao kuai le. haha. ALL SO NICE!! and her concert is super high. haha lot of her fans are really crazy de. stand from the start to the end. HAHA. first time see concert alr so high liao. if next time go other concert nt as high den i'll feel quite sian diao ba. oh and amei at the start of the concert sing the 1st sentimental song alr wanna cry liao. haha. she's v v v v v emo hor? =) and she's v v v v hot. her pants and skirt all so short one. haha and super high plattform shoes. like v retro hor? =) den after tt take but home so super crowded and got some stupid guy keep poking our chair lor, almost wanna turn back and scold #@$%^&*() LOL. i'm back from KL!!!! =)

wooohooo~ haa. had lotsa fun shopping with the girls~ samantha was sick on day 1 though, so she was really cui. they really sleep like pig from 5pm all the way until 9pm. and then they went to look for food. me and hq shopped at KLCC on our own. i saw a super nice swatch watch but last piece. damn cui la. =( hmm anw, we didn't buy anything from KLCC. we went cold storage to buy cup noodles to eat for dinner. LOL! coz our first meal was secret recipe, which is far from sg's standard. my goodness.

den day 2 went bukit bintang area to shop. sungei wang alone we spend half a day liao. i found my TORRES PILLOW!! AHHHhhhHHHhhh =) hmm den i bought stuffs from padini and seed. haha. nice nice... den went times sq too. walk until leg cui lor... i mean my knee cui. lol. den last day we went pavillion to shop. HIGH ENnddd....the pull and bear things there oso quite nice. haha. but nv buy coz size all quite small. i saw a nice bag but all is last piece one. damn cui la. i like the tings so many ppl want meeeeehhhh. hmmm but nvm. den we went mango all that. and den adidas there got chelsea tingy lei, we wait so long oso nothing de so gave up the chance of seeing soccer players LIVE!! =( sad. i tink hq more sad la, she's like a super big chelsea fan~~~~ ok den the bus back was cui. the stupid ppl in front of us push their chair all the way down until it hit my knee. damn it. ok but i was back at 5am.. =)

yesterday marked the end of CAC senior's camp. the FOC is on 21-23jul . so 21jul i help out pool games den study for exam den after tt continue helping fright night and amazing race. den our SPMS FOC is 14-18jul. hahaha die liao la. how to study like tt?!! =)

anw, its a gd experience helping out as programmers. i tink me and jq are probably the best 'life' progs haha!! we slack like siao man. and we became famous overnight all thanks to wt. his cluedo game made us famous. we're officially known as sally and dolly. omg. haha

my daily routine is very much like sleep at 5 am wake up at 8/10am depends if i'm working. and sleep at 930pm, wake up at 1150pm and watch soccer from 12 all the way to 430 plus plus.

i'm so crazy over euro2008 tt i'm gg to watch early ALL the matches altho i'm gg to start school on tues! this happens even more cos i got soccer kaki to talk to me online. haha. but lesson's form 1pm to 5pm i tink. dun quite rmb the timing. hehe =) anw, i managed to borrow acct text book from zhi ting, my friend's friend, but nw oso my friend. haha!

whoooot!!! haha. i think i did ok la, i'm glad that i din do badly for spanish. and biochem was a suprise A-, coz everyone did so well for the tests and stuff. so i guess the exams i did really well to be able to obtain an A- =))) and i thought i could get A for maths, so quite disappointing that it ended up as a B+.. but tts not bad la, really =) considering all other factors, i'm just glad tt i did better than expected for Spanish and i PASS PHY!!!! tts a miracle can, i tot i was so gg to FAIL. =) but thank God. i PASSED ALL so no need RETAKE weeehheeee~ =) now my GPA is 3.86, its getting closer to my 4.0!! jia yoU!!

today i went sentosa for dee dah day, in case u're wondering what's tt, it's a day where all the cell grps in RAYS (young adult ministry) in church meet to have a day of fun and fellowship! =)

altho i didn't really wanna go at first, and was telling Chervin how i tot it was gg to be awkward, i STILL WENT with faith. haha. even when i tossed the coin, it showed tt i should not go, but i still decided to go. maybe it's reverse psychology. but i really had a lot of fun there, knowing more ppl and stuff, and i think i actually feel quite comfortable there. =)

the weather was bad today, but God is Good =) the rain sort of stopped half way.
and i got bombed by junyang. omg.. shitty... and it made me so itchy... but after bathing now, its ok. hahahaha.... ohhhh and i found out tt there's a girl who's in CBC and is a year 2. haaha and guess wad, the world is so small, she from PJC!!! OMGOMGOMG!!! hahaa.. =)

A nice 10km of patiences, sweat and thirst. i think i span quite alot of energy through tt la. it's more effective than my 3.2 km run every week.. hahahahahaa! =)
ok.. anw, i really had fun walking the walk with my cousins, and my fourth aunt!! hahaa.. and we had free money in the kitty sponsored by EVELYN!! =) we took a total of 5 hrs to finish the whole journey. it felt like as if we walked 1 round around mac ritchie. goodness me. and then we had a nice taxi uncle tt honked at us at the end of the road, haha den we took taxi to AMK hub, had lunch and went home. and i was quite tired alr. den had a gd rest.

then went out to meet my friend at causeway pt. haha. a nice dinner and movie. whee~ i ate MOS for dinner and den i watched 'what's happening in vegas' sorry if the title is wrong, coz i sort of watched it without knowing the title.. anw my friend treated me to the movie, so thank my friend and thank God coz i'm quite broke. the movie is quite nice la, it's a comedy with a sweet ending. hahaha.. really nice.. =) cameron diaz is really pretty, so love her =) esp her eyes.. ohhhh myy... =)

day1:
was not v enthu abt camp due to last minute info.
woke up at 9am to set off to sch for camp, met at 1030 at bus stop opp. hall 6. we saw some PRC and was HOPING super badly that they are not going to be involved in the camp. =) and den, they are really not gg for camp. HAHA!! ok, den met hui quan and jiaqi, our dearest OGLs.
intro ourselves, ate lunch, change, and it's time for DIRTY GAMES. and it's oh-so-dirty. actually, not really. haha. only the catapillar game was. in the end it's our shorts dirty and not shirt, no idea why we needed extra shirts. we saw jessica liu and joanne peh at SRC TOILET!!! OMGOMG SO SO SO SO PRETTYY!! =) and they are nice and cool ppl man. super friendly=). why no felicia chin!!!!?? after the games bonded with the OGLs quite abit. and the sparked of a series of really crazy stuffs. haha. i didn't sleep for first night~~~ sigh

DAY2:
AMAZING RACE, it got my legs so tired after everything. we got 2nd!!!!! ZEUS, WE ARE SO GOOD!! lol =) it's really fun la running up and down, doing stupid things, cheering lame stuffs, being thick skinned and stuff. haha.. it got our MORALE SO HIGH. ok, the uncle at chinatown allow us to buy 9 get 1 can of drink free and hence completing o ne of the bonus tasks. killed 2 birds with 1 stone =) thankew uncle! haha. and den it was the bbq at night, so disappointing, no one told us the bbq was up alr, so we didn't really ate. went out for supper with the girls and chris. haha. den we slept like quite late and did alot of stupid tings, like finding out who the snore-er was.. HAHA. and still have to FAKE SLEEP!! so funny. ok tts abt it.

Day3:
the walk to the games was like REALLY LONG, and we all were too tired to play the games by the time we got there.. sigh. so the games were quite a failure, so maybe alycia was quite disappointeD? coz everyone v sian. haha... den it was time to break camp at 12pm. ate lunch with my OG and took train with them home. talked like super alot on the journey home... i'm gg miss them.. haha. =)

it's been sometime since i last blogged. nothing much has been happening lately. haha.
saturday i missed cell grp to go see doc for my poor skin. and den at night went k box with cousins! ahha we sing from 7pm to 130am. woohoo.... sing our hearts out =). and now i'm suffering from sorethroat tink should be due to eating too much bak kua. ahaha.. Sunday went to take family photo at Broadway, for my sis grad. Yes, after so long, we took it! haha =)

ok and i cut my hair. it's time i consider rebonding.. hmmm...

anw... life's so boring. i havent went out shopping in town since my exams ended. i've been RESTING. haha quite shiok. it's been a long time since i rested. =)) whee.

the SPMS Senior's camp is tmr, but i dunno why until now still no one called us up to give us info. sigh. They are so inefficient. i'm considering to not go. if tmr everything don't go well i tink i probably wun wanna go for the rest of the days liao. anw, the 10 i paid is for lodging, and i get t-shirt for free, so i treat like paying for t shirt nia lor.

went out this morning to study with samantha at her place, aka the function rm.

quite productive. but i'm worried bout my exams as the approach nearer. i realised i'm not tt ready for exams. i'm not confident of my stuffs. so, pretty worrying. i dun used to feel tt way in the past. and this sem passed really quickly. kinda .... scary. haha. with my busy schedule, i still have to teach tuition tmr from 7 to 830. sigh. i hate my tutee.. i mean.. it's a long story. she's easy to teach but v v v v v v v v v not compromising. sigh. sometimes, life's a bitch, and yes, i accept it.

SPANISH ORAL EXAM IS OVER!!! woohoo to that. the hardest part of the whole course. haha to speak in front of the whole class IN SPANISH. gosh. we were shaking, so hard. and samantha trembled until she went really pale when everything ended. gosh, i was worried that she might get hyperventilated =) we did it girls! yay! good joB!! ESTUPENDO!

hope our efforts pay off. i guess cristina should be shocked that we could speak quite fluently. haha it's scripted, of course la!

exam is in less than a week. havent study finish. chalet's tmr night. goodness. i really need to wake up my idea man.

it just suddenly made me wonder. why do people only realise sth is important to them after they lost it?

isit supposedly a natural instinct? perhaps we as humans are really complacent. from young we were always taught to tell ourselves, let's be contented, we should be thankful we have this, we have that. but do u know that we only say it and NOT practice it? We are NOT sensitive to the things that are happening around us. femine, disasters, drought, etc. Many times, we tell ourselves that but we really ARE NOT contented and thankful for what we have. sometimes i look around, looking at the way kids envy each other, snatching toys and stuff. the only reason why they did that was a sign of desire, the feeling of having superiority over one another. they don't say it, but we see it. so was it a humanly instinct? it keeps me wondering. i admit i nv stopped wanting gd grades, gd life, gd everything, who don't?

it's hard to feel contented with your own life unless u cut urself off from the rest of the world, from technology, from new inventions, everything that seems to make our lives simpler. the thought of wanting more IS an ADDICTION, isnt it? As humans, we never stop our cravings, our temptations, our desires, our ambitions, our.....

it never once came to a stop.

Think abt this. what if u were living down a street 100 years ago. what could they have wanted? simple stuffs. they want to live. that's probably what common peasants would desire. right? and look around now, teenagers, adults, whoever... taking their own lives. why? cos they couldn't accept failure, they didn't noe how to solve a problem or whatever other reason they could have. What right do they have to take their lives. what made think that THEY SHOULD TAKE THEIR OWN LIVES? i really wonder.

to all christians, what if one day, GOD stands in front of you and say, 'Come with me, leave everything behind, and you shall find Greatness in Me'

How many of us would have the courage to leave behind our worldly pleasures, being EMPTY HANDED, and follow Him? are we prepared for the arrival of this day? i myself, am not sure. =)

today is a BAD day.

cristina took emergency leave, so spanish lessons were cancelled. hope she's fine though.
ohh, did i mention? she is pregnant.

todays maths quiz was crappy~ i hate it RAH~
i hope can get at least 1.7.. anw, i tot i'll die badly coz i really knew nuts about that chapter. i was trying extra questions and i realised tt i got ALL WRONG. wonderful. how could i end up like tt? sigh.

and next came presentation. everything was screwed. EVERYTHING. when we tried starting up the ppt on andrea's com, it couldn't open. apparently, the file is DAMAGED. so what the hell? is tt ppt trying to play a joke on us? everything was SO FINE UNTIL THE LAST SECOND. and of days, it's gotta screw up today~! it was really hectic for all of us today. and we went to presentation feeling all screwed up. altho' in the end the file was recovered. and guess what, the cable for the speaker was plugged into the wrong socket or sth, and our video did NOT have sounds thru the speakers. sigh. and i panicked from then on. i BLANKED OUT. as the first speaker, i'm rather vulnerable. and it happened to liqi too~ andrea was shaking. but samantha and HS did fine~ sigh i'm so dead.

i just PRAY tt i'll pass tt mod. pls~~~~~

today, i watched movie with twin, tricia, and karen. had a great time watching movie with them.
we caught PS I LOVE YOU and JUNO. PS I LOVE YOU is nice though. touching story i guess. it reminds me of my aunt. and i teared in the movie theatre. haha. twin was stronger than me though. maybe because i was emo-ing right from the start in the show= )

JUNO is rather boring i guess. but well, the story is a good lesson for all teenagers to learn. haha! the teenage girl was pregnant. and she had a contract with this couple tt she'll give up her baby to them when it's born. sigh, why go thru all the pain right? so sad. but still, the little one deserve a chance to live life.

i'm still busy with all my school work. just trying to update stuff tts gg on in my life. i got 1.7 out of 2 for maths. and i'm glad and thankful. coz i'll probably screw up bio. all thanks to frequent blank out stunts performed by my puny brain. and all my efforts say BYE BYE. =(((

hmm today i saw an article on Singaporeans speaking english that are deemed 'lousy' by taiwanese people on a programme titled ' kang xi lai le'. i thought it was really unsuitable to comment on the accent of another nationality. although they have a freedom of speech, but aren't they conscious that it'll also be SCREENED in sinagpore? each country have an accent and culture of its own, it's bad to poke fun at another's culture.

singaporean accent or 'singlish' is a culture that's developed due to multiracial interaction. it forms a sense of identity and belonging. just like how they mix chinese in hokkien and things like that. it's good that we have an identity right? so what if they do not understand us? as long as we understand ourselves, tts gd enuff. and when we go to other countries, they understand what we're saying, that's good enuff. =)

we're not embarrassed abt our culture, in fact, proud of it. things are not going to change. we are the way we are =)

we love shortening our sentences. short, straight to the pt. that's it.

this year, everythings wrong. don't seem to have the mood.

but the kids at granduncle's house really drive us nuts. they are really.. loud. except for ashton =) quiet little boy.. he is sooo cute!

hmm while we were at granny's hse we actually saw this husky tt got tied on to the 'bulky disposal bin' ohh man, it looks so sad la. give us the ' help me' face. so we decided to bring it for a walk to see if it will lead itself back home. apparently my small aunt saw him ard the private estates near her hse. so it was walking in tt direction which we assume correct. and COINCIDENTALLY, we saw this maid looking for sth. so i assume is her dog. den she walked towards us. YAY! we found the owner!! haha..lucky the dog met us,if not i tink it'll die of thirst at the void deck can`

today had spanish lesson! yet again. the only mod tt i really look forward to every week. =) had communication lesson too, which i dread most i guess. i mean its fun, but presentations just turns everyone off. haha today andrea did the presentation due to me and samantha's mo qi! haha we actually did 'black and white' to choose who go for presentations. fair and square.

i'm not sure if twin will see this, but my clique had a new 'guy' friend tt join us during spanish lessons, a year 2 from NBS. hmm hahaa scandalous. and he's known as Wilfred. ohh, new friend for TWIN. haha.

cauchy lab was rather ok. haha our new instructor is really helpful. and i did a v stupid mistake during my m.file tingy. i went to save it as testfm.m den when i try to recall the function testfn.m i couldn't !!!! den until dunno how long later den realised tt its a stupid mistake haha! =)

hmmm, nth much gg on lei. uni life is really busy AND boring. i wanna join CCA alr la. my life is so BLACK and WHITE.

outing on sunday was fun. me, hsin, jh, qy. haha poor qy, we luff at him from marina bay all the way back to yew tee. think he oso realised that he did things tt are out of the norm.

the outing was a good time for me to put my mind off things. hanging out with them is just so so so so so fun~ bet the rest of them will agree with me too. and JS PANGSEH US!!! and hsin's new hair is so cooL! haha think alot of guys will admire her, my little miss eye candy.

hmmm still working on rollerblade's tutorial. marketing is so..... random. haha. i don't know how to put it. but its really out of the normal sci stuff that i used to do. i'm still not acustomed to doing all these, looking at things from a different view. perhaps sci really made me more logical or too logical =)

too much tings to think of, for my tutorial i mean. haha. i noe alot of ppl are worried about me. but i'm really ok... i'm NOT lying. haha i'm too busy to think of anything. but yes, i shall say tt i wanna be liberated. whheee.....

i feel like i'm wasting time just sitting around, watching tv and of course online, blogging.

somehow, i can never figure out the rationale behind me doing all these things that i usually do.

shouldn't i do something more meaningful?

my brain is kinda in a state of disfuction. i hate it.

study study study. is that what i have to do all day long? PHYSICS, MATHS, BIO CHEM, MARKETING, COMMUNICATION STUDIES.... and the list will only get longer.

my hols are officially over as of today!!!

sigh. really gonna miss this big big holiday. although only 5 weeks. and was really wasting time at the beginning. but it was really a time for me to regenerate my studying engine.

didn't do v well for last sem. so this sem, must do well. i'm gg to be a freak yet again.

i wanna go HK again~ shopping shopping. and i wanna venture to other parts besides just kowloon and HK island. hee. somehow, the grass is always greener on the other side! pretty place. other than the landscape, everything else is v much like sg.

yet it's me again, blogging.

suddenly find myself rather lonely. friends are getting busier, they seem to busy to have time for me. sometimes, it's hard to find ppl whom u can talk to. i understand, friends come and go. maybe i was too dependent of them, and i lost myself in the process. i realised, i cant exactly survive alone. i used to be able to. but now, i find myself all alone.

seriously, what are friends? ppl that are merely passerbys in ur life. and the difference btw acquaintances and friends lies in something called time. friends stop by in ur life longer than acquaintances. so why am i so dependent on them? i have no idea why.

i need to be enlightened. seems like i'm becoming pessimistic again. returning to that georgina 3 years ago. and maybe that's just the real me. i thought i was being childish then. but now, i realised i'm hurting. i can no longer suppress it. whether is it love, family, friends or maybe just Life. i feel really disappointed.

i'm tired of telling myself tt i've to stay strong, i've to learn to pick myself up, i've to do well, i've to study, i've to go for lessons, i've to be there for so and so, i've to............ too many to state. but i'm tired. i am.

It's 1 January 2008, Tuesday, 1955hrs.

sitting in front of my laptop. watching kinshipII

I was busy the whole morning till afternoon. survived on 4 hrs of sleep. i'm not complaining. but i'm so tired that i only realised now, that it's 2008.

i'm stepping into a new year ahead, not knowing that it's new year.

received a few calls and sms-es last night wishing me a great year ahead and stuff. and a phone call from yu fung was like the last ting i would think of. you've gave me a shock buddy. =) thanks anyway.

i did relatively ok for my exams i THINK. i've got a C for Foresics. i din expect much anyway. its meant to be screwed.

As i step into 2008, i hope that what's unhappy in the past year be gone, and i can look forward to the new year ahead with more strength, more determination. i've found my passion in singing. will not elaborate on it. and i do not wish to skip anymore lessons as far as possible. and of course, to reap the fruits of my perspiration. i no longer tink of lovey doveys, i've no time for them. maybe, perhaps, if things happen, they do. if not, probably, i'll just be single. its good =). ok cant really think of what to say right now. i'm tired. really tired.

went out with twin and samantha to buy their shoes. hmm, twin couldn't get the one she really liked, coz don't have her size. so, she had to settle for something else. we were hungry waiting for samantha so went to eat laksa at the second lvl. lvl 1 had too many ppl. so yeah. ok, and waited for samantha for about 1 hrs plus? so finally came at nearly gg to 5 like tt. yeah. then i met cousin at LOT 1 for GYM. and i cut my hair at QB house. it's not v gd. it's quite ugly. but everyone assured me tt it's ok. so hmm i'll only go EC house from now on ok.. tts like the best 10 bucks deal. ok v kiam, but yah.

Had our OUTING finally! after much obstacles. LOL. when hs, me and samantha can make it, yj and char had to go msia. so.. hmm.. yj tt busy girl is finally free. coz she pon her CAC meeting. haha. and her bf had to send her to JE, i tink it was to ensure that she was out with GIRLS and not GUYS. ok. we had a great time chit chatting at Carls' Jr. haha. whee... long time since we talked. hmmm den waited for samantha. she only came at 5 plus i tink. icant rmb the time. den the walked around abit. and then, we went to MARCHE for dinner. haha wahh super filling!!! we had like 3 main courses and 1 salad and 2 dessert. haha we shared it of course. haha so end up only about 9 per person. wah so nice! haha =) and then we went home at about 730. by the time i got home alr gg to 9pm. haha

Went to sch today to do the minor application. it was a total waste of time there. you've no idea how terrible it was. to go to sch when it's RAINING and POURING with STUPID THUNDER AND LIGHTNING! ok, feel my fury! raaahh!!

ok, what was stated online was, we were suppose to declare our intention to pursue a minor. and for SPMS students, we were suppose to like go to our sch's general office all the way at NIE BLK 5 LEVEL 3, to file an award for the minor. so we went, coz closing date is on 9 dec. alright tts not it!

the online instruction said, upon declaration online, if we do not file for the award with the sch by closing date, our application will be cancelled. and what now? the guy told us tt we can send it in with our result slip after it is out. which is in JANUARY. WAD THE!!!!!!!!!!! rrraahh!!! so we basically wasted our time going down, when WE could have DONE IT when sch reopens. WHAT A JOKE! omg. i feel like killing the sch now man. like REALLY. from CCK to BOONLAY u tink v cheap is it?!

let's see. i've got nothing much to blog about. i realised that i've already blogged in the afternoon. sighs. why is my holiday so boring? i feel like i'm wasting it away. ok maybe i should force my bro to go shopping with me in town. MR Seah, since i play frisbi with u, u'll go shopping with me!!! i'm bored la. wasting my time and youth away at home.

and i watched the jap version of hanakimi. it's HILARIOUS ok. much more hilarious han the taiwanese version. but taiwanese version the storyline is more well developed. so basically, i love both! haha.

just 2 mths ago, we were complaining that we were having quiz quiz quiz, test test test, and then came the E monster, exams!! then, we mugged our ASSES off. and now, it's OVER after 1 mth of self-discipline and Self-restraint, we are LIBERATED. gosh, time really flies. i'm gg to be 20 in 5 mths. it felt like yesterday that i took my A levels, got a job at BD. and now i'm the end of sem 1. i cant imagine what next sem will be like. perhaps faster than today...

when u were young, u wished that you'll grow up. and when you finally grew up, u wanna be a child all over again.

oh yeah, exams finally over. went kboxing with pi-porrr on saturday. at least it satisfied half of my cravings. and we went shopping for a while. haha so fun!!!! our combination to sing 'i still believe' by caoge and vivan hsu was NEARLY perfect. except for the last line where she gave up. tsk tsk.. hahah tink she was confused by me.

Spanish striker scores twice as the Merseysiders turn on the style against FC Porto in Champions League qualifier at Anfield

Fernando Torres scored his first goals in the Champions League as Liverpool kept alive their hopes of a top two finish with a 4-1 win over FC Porto at Anfield.

The Spanish striker debuted in the Champions League group stages against FC Porto back on the September 18 in Liverpool’s opening Group A fixture, and it was fitting that Fernando Torres’ first goals should come against the Portuguese opponents.

Torres gave the Reds the lead in the first half and put Liverpool into the lead again with just under twelve minutes remaining after FC Porto had equalised through Lisandro in the 33th minute.

The game started brightly, but Rafa Benitez’ side had to wait until the 19th minute to take the lead. Gerrard swung over a corner from the right and Torres rose well between Stepanov and Gonzalez to power home a downward header past Helton in the Portuguese goal.

FC Porto replied just after the half hour mark as Przemyslaw Kazmierczak crossed from the left for Lopez to head past Reina. The equaliser was the Portuguese side’s first real chance, and the goal came against the run of play, as the Reds had dominated the opening exchanges.

The last chance of the first half fell to the Portuguese champions, but Lopez failed to hit the target from close range with Reina beaten.

Following the restart, some great play from Fernando Torres set up Yossi Benayoun, but the Israeli international mistimed his shot.

Liverpool continued to push forward and Rafa Benitez introduced Harry Kewell and Peter Crouch as the Reds looked to score a second.

The substitutions worked a treat as Kewell set up Fernando Torres for Liverpool’s, and the striker’s, second of the night. The Australian skipped past two before passing to Torres, who held off the Portuguese defence before curling the ball past Helton.

Liverpool’s second goal drove them forward and four minutes later Steven Gerrard sent Helton the wrong way from the penalty-spot to make it three.

Peter Crouch scored Liverpool’s fourth with two minutes remaining as he headed in Gerrard's corner into the back of the net to round off the night.

In the other Group A game Besiktas beat Olympique Marseille 2-1 in Turkey. Despite the loss, FC Porto still top the group with 8 points, followed by Liverpool in second with 7 points, Olympique Marseille in third with 7 points, and Besiktas bottom with 6 points.

sometimes, life's short. really short. i've met so many instances. Young men with promising future and an all rounder. somehow, they cant fight mother nature. they have been called back to where they belong. sigh. yet another tragedy.

Dear Members of the NTU Community,

I was at the memorial service for the five members of the national dragon boat team who lost their lives in the accident on the Tonle Sap River in Cambodia representing their country. I was privileged to learn more about the five brave young men who were such great examples of our men, their lives cruelly snuffed out by an act of mother nature. Three of them are members of our extended family. As their eulogies were said, there was not a dry eye in the house. We all shed tears for the brave ones who did not make it.

Stephen Loh received his B.Eng. (Elect) in 2001 and M.Eng. (Elect) in 2004. He found his calling in teaching and went to NIE at NTU, receiving his PG Dip. Ed. in 2007. He was a well loved teacher at NJC before he perished in the accident. He was an inspirational teacher, someone we are very proud to have come from our NIE.

Poh Boon San was known as the "comeback kid". He took 8 years for primary school and 5 years for secondary, and yet in Nanyang Polytechnic he found his stride and earned his place in NTU, receiving his B.Eng. (Elect) just this year, with honours. He had just started work for a few months when tragedy struck.

Chee Wei Cheng was admitted to Aerospace Engineering in 2006 and would have enrolled next year after national service. A straight A student, he is also a filial son, taking good care of his mother and younger brother. With his loss his family lost a great source of strength.

Stephen and Boon San were members of our dragon boat team. Wei Cheng would most likely have joined the team if he had enrolled as planned. They were lively, energetic young men who think of others first, with the best qualities of a member of the NTU community. They had great mental strength and endurance. Our entire dragon boat team and our sports officials were all at the memorial service and funeral, paying their last respect to their friends, their comrades, their brothers.

As we mourn the passing of these outstanding young men, their will honed on the battlefield of tough races, do remember them and their best qualities, and support each other as a community. We shall ensure their qualities will last and endure in the NTU community. Together, let's help their families get through these trying times.

whheee.. my exams are over alr! can play all i want. hehe.. time to pack my stuffies man. esp the 'battle field' LOL, filled with loads of casualties and unfortunate kids.. LOL! ok i'm being lame.

cant wait to go kbox. hee this sat gg with cousin, next week probably gg with twin. i'm a kbox fanatic. they suck money from kids like us. ohh, did i just said tt i'm a KID. ok nono, is GIRLS like me. haha

hmmm went to do some shopping with samantha today. and we ate Ding Tai Feng. wahh the xiao long bao was so NICE but i tink taiwan have nicer xiao long baoz.. hahaha..

i'm so looking forward to my hong kong trip in dec... whheeee.....

OH SO GREAT. finally finished studying for tmr's paper. tink i'll rest till at night and then decide what do i wanna do. and FINALLY TMR COMES MY LAST PAPER. So looking forward to it (though a little worried) cos it's just HOURS to LIBERATION. wHHEeeEee!

so now, i finally found the time to blog about stuff tt has been gg on. Yesterdays 113 paper was KILLER. it killed me SO SO bad.. don't ask me why, coz i didn't really know. i cant believe tt i was ridiculously nervous and wrote a NH3+ instead of NH4+. sigh. anw, what's done is done. too bad for me. and everything was just not 100% sure like the other tests. the only qn i knew i'll get marks for is the mechanism qn. haha.. coz i managed to get the compound. ok, i shall stop talking about it.

one of my besties have found a bf for herself. so happy for her! she's happy and we'll be happy i guess. haha and i went to checked out his 'friendster', it's her style one lo. yeah.

and now quite sad for me and my other 2 friends. hahahaha.. we NOBODY WANT!!! =((( haha nola, we're fine. just tt quite sian. later everyone got bf liao den left 1 person super sad.. u know, everyone in love is 有异性没人性. in other words, they'll be more attached to their bfs or gfs. LOL..

and then, i went to check out my timetable for next sem. as in the mods tt we have to take have diff timeslots. and i hope i can get what i want. because the timetable is really bad. we can have like 8 hrs of break. who on earth does tt!!! sigh. coz i'm apparently exempted from 2 modules, so i dunno what to do la tt 8 hrs. i tink i'll do a minor in biz. good choice? =)

hmm... ok.. and tts about it. my 1 mth of AGONY is finally gg to end!!! D DAY!!!!!!!!
